Salt Lake City Auction Salt Lake City will host an auction of leftover Olympic gear on Saturday, at the Gallivan Center. (Mar. 1, 2002)------ OLYMPIC SALES: SLOC Asset Sales NBC Olympic Videos Olympic Furniture SLOC Vehicles Olympic bargain hunters will have a few more chances to score some deals on leftover Olympic gear. Salt Lake will hold an auction Saturday, at 2 PM at the Gallivan Center. Hundreds of Olympic related items will be auctioned, including banners, lift-chair benches, Olympic coats, and decorations from the Downtown Festival. The auction is part of the inaugural weekend of “Sights and Sounds Downtown”. Part of Mayor Rocky Anderson's “Keep the Spirit Alive” initiative.
