Olympic Fleet For Sale Olympic athletes, dignitaries and other VIP's had a fleet of SUV's to drive them around. And now you can get your hands on one of the vehicles. (Feb. 27, 2002)------There were more than 5,000 cars in the Olympic fleet, and now they've been picked up by GM dealers around the West. From the popular new Trail Blazers to Cadillac Escalade's, there's something for everyone. Jerry Seiner/Chevrolet Dealer: "EVEN IF THEY WERE JUST DRIVEN AROUND THE BLOCK, YOU WOULD SAVE AT LEAST A THOUSAND DOLLARS. THE SECOND THING IS THEY ARE ALL ELIGIBLE FOR THE NEW VEHICLE DISCOUNTS AS WELL." Now you've probably seen these cars driving around town with the Olympic logos, but dealers warn that those logos will be taken off at the time of purchase. Officials say dealers across the valley will have their share, so you simply need to contact your preferred dealer.
