Jeremy Bloom: Up-And-Comer
Up-and-comer freestyle mogulist Jeremy Bloom has a nickname that fits him well: Tiger.
|

(Dec. 29, 2001)------
His coach started using that name, because of the 19-year old's tenacious determination to claw his way to the top of his sport.
He's finished third in two recent World Cup competitions.
Bloom's motto for being the best is simple... compete like your number one, but train like you're number 2.
Jeremy Bloom/Olympic Hopeful: BASICALLY WHEN I'M OUT HERE TRAINING, I'M ENVISIONING OTHER PEOPLE WORKING HARDER. MY TEAMMATES WORKING HARDER, AND THAT DRIVES ME TO WORK AS HARD AS A I POSSIBLY CAN.
Bloom's decision to pursue his Olympic dream came at a price.
He had to postpone college, and gave up a football scholarship at the University of Colorado.
