Men's Bobsled World Cup leader Todd Hays and Olympic veteran Brian Shimer will lead the two U.S men's 4-man bobsled teams in February. (Dec. 29, 2001)------ Hays and Shimer led their sleds to a 1-2 finish in today's final race in the Olympic trials. This will be Shimer's fifth Olympics. He won the 2-man bobsled competition last Saturday. The U.S. team hasn't won an Olympic medal in bobsled in nearly five decades. Hays and Shimer say they hope to end that tradition.
