U.S. Long Track Team
Other athletes also won a spot on the Olympic long track speedskating team.

(Dec. 22, 2001)------ Marc Pelchat of Massachusettes. He retired from skating after the '98 Nagano Games, but came back last year for another shot at the Olympics.
Casey FitzRandolph, Derek Parra, Joey Cheek, Kip Carpenter, Nick Pearson, and J.P. Shilling also made the men's team.
In the women's competition: Jennifer Rodriguez, Chris Witty, Becky Sundstrom, Amy Sannes and Elli Ochowicz.
There will be a few more names added to the list next month, of skaters who will compete in the longer distances.
