A lot of people have written to ask whether they can go be a part of the NBC Today show, you know stand there with a sign and a wave.
KSL Comments:
The answer is yes! And on a regular basis.
In fact, we've got the exact locations where you can show up for Thursday.
NBC tells us weatherman Al Roker will be at the Gateway Olympic Fountain, Thursday morning from 5 am to 6 am.
Then, from 6:30 to 8 am, he'll be on the Main Street Plaza, at the reflecting pool by the Joseph Smith Memorial Building.
The locations and schedule is still coming out, so we'll keep you posted as we find out.

Subject: Stadium Seats

Message:
Jodee has read the guides, she has read the maps.
She knows about the dangerous prohibited stuff. She knows she CAN bring a blanket to outdoor venues.
But she asks: What about a stadium seat? You know those little folding seats to give you back support?
KSL Comments:
Can't bring it!
If you are going to Opening Ceremonies, facing a cold bleacher seat, you'll receive a complimentary souvenir stadium cushion.
At other venues, you'll be able to buy cushions and seat warmers. But leave the stadium seat at home.

Many people in the baby boomer age category and older
were not considered in the selection of entertainment for the Olympic Medals Plaza. All volunteers were each given a ticket to a Medals Plaza show.
But many of them passed their tickets on to their children or grandchildren who have heard of groups like Barenaked Ladies or the Foo Fighters.
The fact that there were no entertainment options for all age categories was not fair, especially since many of the volunteers are retired people.
Was the average age on the SLOC entertainment committee 22?
KSL Comments:
Those young whippersnappers!
