Current Weather at the Olympic Stadium  Sunday, 2/24/2002 @ 6:20 pm
It is now 39 degrees at the Stadium. The forecast for tonight is partly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of snow showers. Wind becoming north at 10-20 MPH by midnight. Lows 20-25.
Cold and Windy at Closing Ceremony  Sunday, 2/24/2002 @ 5:10 pm
Be sure you dress for cold and windy weather if you will be attending tonight’s Closing Ceremony. No covered seating is available, and you may be outside for five to six hours. Also, check your ticket for your seat location so you can enter through the proper gate.
Dress Warm for Olympic Square  Sunday, 2/24/2002 @ 9:41 am
If you’ll be at the medals plaza or Olympic Square today, make sure you dress for cold, and possibly wet, weather conditions. Wear plenty of layers, and remember your boots, gloves, hat and a scarf.

If you’re attending tonight’s Closing Ceremony plan to wear warm clothing because it’s expected to be cold and breezy tonight. Gates open at 2:45, and there is plenty of pre-show entertainment and activities to enjoy.   More >>>
Snowy Roads En Route to Soldier Hollow  Sunday, 2/24/2002 @ 8:24 am
If you’re driving to today’s Women’s Cross-country event at Soldier Hollow, be alert and careful on US 40 and Highway 189 as you approach the park and ride lot. It’s snowing and the roads are slick.
Dress for Weather at Soldier Hollow  Sunday, 2/24/2002 @ 7:00 am
Even though the weather has been warm on valley floors the past couple of days, don’t let the mild temperatures fool you. If you’re attending Women’s Cross-country at Soldier Hollow, remember to wear waterproof boots, a hat and gloves.   More >>>

Remember to bring your camera to the Closing Ceremony! Because the stadium is an outdoor venue with no covered areas, you’ll need to dress extra warmly…it’s expected to be breezy tonight.   More >>>

Tickets are still available for this morning’s event at Soldier Hollow. If you are attending Soldier Hollow for today’s women’s cross-country 30-kilometer competition, the weather may vary a great deal during the morning hours.   More >>>

Saturday night and Sunday it should be mostly cloudy and breezy. SLOC suggests you dress warmly. It may feel a lot colder than 28-- the expected high temperature Saturday night and Sunday.
