Monday Morning Traffic Advisory  Sunday, 2/24/2002 @ 10:45 pm
Streets and areas that were closed in order to facilitate Olympic bus functions and pedestrian walkways are scheduled to reopen tomorrow. These include Main St., areas along 500 S. and 1300 E., and most surface street parking. Heavy traffic is expected around the Salt Lake International Airport. Those departing from the airport should leave early to allow for delays.   More >>>
Traffic Moving Smoothly  Sunday, 2/24/2002 @ 10:03 pm
Foot traffic and cars are flowing from the Olympic Stadium. Expect heavy traffic around the Stadium. Elsewhere, traffic is light and flowing smoothly. Remember that Foothill Drive is closed from 1300 East to Wasatch Drive.   More >>>
Park City Traffic Update  Sunday, 2/24/2002 @ 7:35 pm
In Park City, China Bridge and Swede Alley reopen Feb. 25. Main St. will reopen to vehicles by Feb. 27.
Traffic After the Ceremonies  Sunday, 2/24/2002 @ 7:00 pm
After the Closing Ceremonies this evening you will find downtown vehicle and pedestrian traffic to be extremely congested. Avoid the area if you can, and all of you who will be driving around this evening, be on the lookout for pedestrians.
Park and Ride Advisory  Sunday, 2/24/2002 @ 4:50 pm
Keep you patience level up as you make your way from Olympic Park and ride lots this evening following the Closing Ceremonies. Traffic is might be heavy around the North Salt Lake and Sugar House Park lots. Other possible trouble areas include the lots around Salt Lake Community College and 5300 South.
Downtown Venues Close at 5pm  Sunday, 2/24/2002 @ 4:03 pm
If you plan to head downtown today, keep in mind that nearly all downtown activities and venues are closing around 5 o’clock. Make sure you plan for the early closures.   More >>>

UDOT advises that the NB and SB lanes of I-15 in North Salt Lake are closed from 600 N. to the I-215 interchange.   More >>>

It appears that the Utah Highway Patrol is closing both northbound and southbound lanes of I-15 in North Salt Lake due to a refinery fire.   More >>>

If you’re driving to today’s Women’s Cross-country event at Soldier Hollow, be alert and careful on US 40 and Highway 189 as you approach the park and ride lot. It’s snowing and the roads are slick.
