Salt Lake Olympic Square and Olympic Medals Plaza will be on a different schedule tomorrow. The Square opens at 9:00 a.m. and Olympic Medals Plaza opens at 10:00 a.m.   More >>>

Airline Ticket Counter Information  Saturday, 2/23/2002 @ 9:47 pm
Airline ticket counters at the Salt Lake City International Airport will open at 4:00 a.m. on Monday due to expected heavy airline travel. To ensure on-time boarding, the airport suggests that you be at the counter at least 3 and a half hours before your departure time.

Traffic on West Temple is getting very packed. You’ll encounter gridlock if you head out that direction. Use State Street instead to get out of the downtown area.

KSL TV reports one of the major Olympic attractions is causing big problems for Salt Lake City police and fire tonight. Hundreds of people trying to get a closer look at the Olympic rings are creating gridlock in the residential neighborhood of Arlington Hills.

Saturday night and Sunday it should be mostly cloudy and breezy. SLOC suggests you dress warmly. It may feel a lot colder than 28-- the expected high temperature Saturday night and Sunday.

Before leaving Salt Lake, make sure you check out the original copy of the Declaration of Independence on display at the Utah State Capitol Rotunda. This is a great opportunity to see one of the most important documents in America’s history. The document is on display daily and admission is free.
