Winterfest 2002 is underway on Main Street between 200 and 300 South. Don’t miss Big Bang from 4 p.m. until 7…they’ve traveled all the way from Norway to play in Salt Lake. And At 9 p.m. Missing Persons will be on stage.
Medal's Plaza Tonight  Sunday, 2/17/2002 @ 2:19 pm
Winners from the Women’s Super-G, the Men’s Nordic Combined, the Men’s Cross-country Relay and the Women’s 1,000 meters Speed Skating Competitions will receive their medals tonight at the Plaza with a musical performance by Train. Again, if you don’t have a ticket…avoid the Square.

Men's Bobsleigh to Begin in 40 Minutes  Sunday, 2/17/2002 @ 2:04 pm
The Men’s two-man bobsleigh event will get started in around 40-minutes. Once you get to the Utah Olympic Park lot…you can choose to walk or ride up to hill to the venue entrance look for directional signs to the lot.

The forecast calls for snow showers and a high of 39. Park City could see snow with temperatures up to about 34. Right now, the skies are clear and competition is set to go.

One of the largest displays ever of Olympic Winter Games memorabilia is on exhibit at the Salt Lake City and County Building. “The Olympex Exhibit is open daily. See winter Sports stamps, Olympic Winter Games coins and private collections of torches, medals, posters and pins. It’s free.
