If you’re headed north for a curling event, leave a little early and visit the Hill Aerospace Museum. It’s just off I-15 at the Roy exit - exit 341. See equipment, uniforms and almost 70 military aircraft.
Roads to Avoid  Tuesday, 2/19/2002 @ 12:18 pm
Roads are busy today around the Utah Olympic Oval in Kearns. If you’re not headed to the Speed Skating event, avoid Bangerter Highway and use an alternate route like 5600 West. Also avoid 6200 South.
Walk the Gold Medal Mile  Tuesday, 2/19/2002 @ 12:15 pm
With the women's bobsleigh event getting underway at 4:30pm, spectators should plan for an early start. When you get to the Park and Ride lot for the Utah Olympic Park, you can take the "Gold Medal Mile" walk. There’s fun and entertainment along the path and you get an Olympic pin when you get to the venue entrance.

For questions about your Olympics tickets visit the Rose Wagner Theatre Box Office at 138 West 300 South in downtown Salt Lake. The Box Office is open until 6 p.m.
World Party at Gallivan Center  Tuesday, 2/19/2002 @ 11:25 am
The World Party continues today in downtown Salt Lake City at the Gallivan Center. Ice skate, listen to live music and enjoy Olympic highlights on giant video screens. Come see the Clydesdale Parade from 3 to 4 pm, or be a part of the Bubble Boy Tournament from 4 to 6.   More >>>
Leave Now for Men's Speed Skating  Tuesday, 2/19/2002 @ 11:23 am
Utah Olympic Oval is hosting this afternoon’s men’s 1,500-meter speed skating event. If you plan to drive to the competition, get started now, just in case traffic turns out to be heavy along Bangerter Highway and on 6200 South. Look for the purple signs to get to the Oval lot.

Traffic has been running smoothly so far during the Games. A KSL TV caller reports traffic in and around Park City is flowing well this morning. TrafficLink cameras show no other problems in the Salt Lake Valley right now.   More >>>
Speed Skating Reminders  Tuesday, 2/19/2002 @ 11:11 am
The men’s 1,500-meter speed skating competition begins at 1 p.m. at Utah Olympic Oval. Remember, flash photography is not permitted for speed skating. Noisemakers are allowed but should not be used at the beginning of each race.
American Folk Ballet  Tuesday, 2/19/2002 @ 11:06 am
At 8 p.m. tonight, the American Folk Ballet brings to life the spirit and history of America’s pioneers. The performance starts at 8 p.m. at downtown Salt Lake’s Capitol Theater. Tickets are available at the Capitol Theater Box Office.
