If you’re driving to the 1 p.m. Women’s 1,500-meter speed skating event at the Utah Olympic Oval in Kearns – traffic may begin to get busy around the Bangerter Highway and 6200 South area. Traffic appears to be moving well through the Salt Lake Valley and in Parley's Canyon.

If you have tickets to trade or you’re looking for tickets to the sold out Gold Medal hockey game, visit Salt Lake’s official ticket exchange - located in the Morgan Stanley Building, 175 South Main Street. They’re open late tonight.

1:30 is the start time for the men’s hockey quarterfinal at Peaks Ice Arena in Provo. Tickets are still available for the match between the Czech Republic and Russia. Tickets are available at the venue.   More >>>
Women's Speed Skating This Afternoon  Wednesday, 2/20/2002 @ 11:30 am
Utah Olympic Oval is hosting this afternoon’s Women’s 1,500-meter speed skating competition. If you’re heading to the event watch for traffic on Bangerter Highway near 6200 South and on 4800 West.  More >>>
Slick Roads  Wednesday, 2/20/2002 @ 10:45 am
KSL Radio reports a couple of minor traffic incidents in the Salt Lake Valley, likely because of slick roads as rain continues to fall. Standing water on the road is reported near 33rd South and I-15, among other areas. Overall traffic is moving well.

The Salt Lake City Main Library invites all local poets and Olympic visitors to an open reading tonight. Come share your work or hear others read their work at 7:00. The library is located at 209 East 500 South and the program is free.
Women's Speed Skating Reminder  Wednesday, 2/20/2002 @ 10:31 am
Women’s 1500 meter Speed Skating gets underway at 1:00 at the Utah Olympic Oval in Kearns. If you’ve got tickets to this sold out event, plan to arrive at the venue by noon.
Freeway Traffic  Wednesday, 2/20/2002 @ 10:15 am
All freeways are moving smoothly right now, but there is one area to be cautious of. I-215 South around 900 East has a lot of standing water. There was an accident there earlier, so UDOT is advising drivers to slow down through that area.
