Traffic is flowing nicely on all major highways at the moment.

The “Olympic Piano Gallery” in the Abravanel Hall Lobby, allows visitors to play one of four Steinway grand pianos. The Hall is open every afternoon, from 1 to 4 at 123 South West Temple in downtown Salt Lake. It’s free.

Beginning now through Monday, February 25th 500 South will be closed to traffic from 1300 East to Wasatch Drive. If you would like to take pictures of The Olympic Flame, you will need to avoid that area.

There are only a few more days to purchase Olympic merchandise. Take home a piece of Salt Lake 2002. Visit the Olympic Super Store or any other authorized dealer and while you’re there pick up a copy of the official music of the games CD.   More >>>

SLOC reports that a lot of people are using public transit, especially UTA's fixed bus system. So many people are doing this that the buses are getting packed and are having a hard time getting through the downtown area.  More >>>

Visit the Mexico House at 370 South 1530 East in the former University of Utah Fine Arts Museum. It's free and open to the public.

SLOC reports downtown Salt Lake is hopping, and congested. In fact, there's no downtown parking available at this time. You may want to use the Olympic park and ride system. From each park and ride lot, free shuttles are available for transport into Salt Lake City.
Ballet West Performance  Friday, 2/22/2002 @ 6:27 pm
Utah's own Ballet West performs its "Gala Celebration of 20th Century Masterworks" tomorrow night at 8 at Salt Lake's Capitol Theater. They will feature a variety of works master choreographers including Jerome Robbins, Hans van Manen and George Balanchine. For tickets call 355-ARTS.

There is a crash SB I-215 West at 3800 South. This collision is off to the right side of the freeway, and is not causing delays.
