All TRAX lots are full, and no parking is available downtown. Plan on using the Olympic Park and Ride system. Check utahcommuterlink.com for directions for the nearest lot or look for the purple signs while traveling on the freeways.

Closing Ceremonies Shuttle Service  Saturday, 2/23/2002 @ 12:45 pm
The culmination of the 2002 Winter Games is almost here…the Closing Ceremony begins tomorrow night at 6:45. Shuttles will begin leaving from the park-and-ride lots at 2:30 p.m., and you are advised to be seated at Rice Eccles Olympic Stadium by 5:30 p.m.

Don’t hesitate to ask a member of Team 2002 for information or answers to your questions. Your Olympic volunteers are easy to identify. Just look for someone wearing an official blue or yellow staff uniform.

You still have a chance to take a picture of the Olympic Flame at Rice Eccles Stadium, but remember that 500 South is closed to traffic between 1300 East and Wasatch Drive.

While you're in the downtown area, obey traffic signals and watch for vehicles and moving Trax light rail trains. Look for orange flags stored in buckets near crosswalks, and carry a flag with you when crossing the street.   More >>>

If your leaving Salt Lake City in the next few days through Salt Lake International Airport be prepared for long lines and a long wait. The airport recommends that you be there at least 3 and a half hours before your departure time.
Bronze Medal Hockey Game Starts Soon  Saturday, 2/23/2002 @ 10:50 am
12:15 is the start time for the men’s bronze medal hockey game. If you plan to drive to the event on 2100 South, expect delays to the Redwood Road Exit. The traffic continues on Redwood Road to Parkway Boulevard. Once on Parkway Boulevard, follow the directional signs to the event Park-and-Walk lot.

When you’re in Park City, stop by the Norway house. It’s open to the public and will give you a glimpse into the culture of this charming country. Visit the Norway House at the Park City Education Center at 1255 Park Avenue.

Avoid Roads Around Park City  Saturday, 2/23/2002 @ 10:26 am
Many events are taking place today in Summit and Wasatch Counties. Unless you are attending an event, please avoid traveling on I-80, Highway 224, State Road-248, Highway 189 and Highway 40 through 9:30 pm. If you need to get around in Park City, take Park City Transit instead of driving.
